About pravator.online
Last updated 22 September 2026
pravator.online is a small, independent, advertising-funded publication about consumer security software. We write for people who are about to spend money on protecting a home computer and who would like to understand what they are buying before they buy it.
Who publishes this site
The publisher is Bond-Art-Eko s.r.o., a Czech private limited company with its registered office at Záhřebská 562/41, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, company registration number 17430763, VAT number CZ17430763. Full identity details are in the legal notice.
Who writes it
Sandra Moore is the responsible editor and the author of the articles on this site. She sets the editorial standards described in the editorial policy, decides what is published, and is accountable for anything that turns out to be wrong. Every article carries her name and a date, and the date changes when the article does.
We do not publish under invented staff names, we do not use fabricated author profiles, and we do not sign articles with a generic “editorial team” byline to avoid accountability. If one person wrote it, one person’s name is on it.
How the site is funded
By advertising. When a reader follows a partner link and buys a subscription, the advertiser pays us a commission. That is the entire business model: no subscriptions, no paywall, no sponsored posts sold as editorial, no paid placement in a ranking. The affiliate disclosure sets out exactly how it works and what it does and does not buy.
We disclose the relationship in three places on every page that carries a commercial link: a bar at the very top, a box before any promotional content, and a note directly under every button. That is more disclosure than the law strictly requires, and it is deliberate.
What we will not do
These are commitments, not aspirations. They are set out in full in the editorial policy:
- We do not invent testimonials, reader stories or customer quotes.
- We do not publish star ratings or scores out of ten that we did not earn through testing we actually did.
- We do not manufacture urgency — no countdown timers, no fake stock levels, no “offer ends tonight”.
- We do not promise results. No security product can guarantee you will not be compromised, and we will not write as though one can.
- We do not let an advertiser see, approve or change an article before it is published.
What we collect about you
Nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no pixels, no browser storage, no third-party requests, no contact form. This costs us the ability to know how many people read anything we write. The cookie policy tells you how to verify the claim in your own browser rather than taking it on trust.
Holding us to it
If something on this site is wrong, write to info@pravator.online. We would rather publish a visible correction than leave an error standing — the Norton article already carries one, listing six claims we removed from an earlier version of that page because we could not support them.
